Again another tattoo that was done entirely with a 7 mag shader. Kuro Sumi colors.

I feel terrible cause it took me about 5 and a half hours. I'm a slow ass. they're making fun of me at the shop for it and really putting the pressure on me and it's depressing me.

hasn't been really a good week for me :| some positive feedback would be appreciated if you enjoy this piece.

and this was taken on my cellphone yet again. Expect a higher quality photo within a few days

<----UPDATE--02/19/10--------->
The image file has been changed. I got a new camera.
No adjustments have been made to the image.
This tattoo is a healed picture :horns:

if you find its taking too long, try using a bigger needle, like a 9 mag or a 13 mag (13 mags are my personal favs) and take your time...

this piece looks intricate with lots of layering of colours and tight detail, if it was black and grey it may have taken you less time.

you can also remind them that bob tyrrell; arguably the best black and grey artist in the world can spend 8 hours on a piece the size of a fist... but the end results are always worth it

I rather have a tattoo-artist taking a little more time and for me having to pay a bit more money than walking out with something that doesn't look good enough. The fiery wings are absolutely gorgeous and just what I'm looking for when I get my next tattoo. Keep up the good work!

I love this design so much that I want to use it as a basis for my first tatt. The Phoenix means a lot to me, especially the last 5 years. This is the first one that I've seen that doesn't have the bold outlines that I wanted to avoid.

seriously... how much would this be now a days? and where exactly is your shop because i would kill for this tattoo. 5 and a half hours is perfectly fine for a tattoo. you did an amazing job. its better to take your time and do it right for a client then rush just to get more clients in and out. i think this is beautiful

Dude, if you were in Ohio I'd come to you for a tatt like that! That is exactly what I have been looking for the past year for my first ink.

This is fucken amazing man> Take your time!Work SLOWLY any great tattoo artist will tell you this. I ALWAYS take my time. the time you took on this transferrs over to your work. It looks like it was made with a lot of detail and with a lot of patience it doesnt look half-assed and rushed!!! keep doing what you are doing! what state are you in????
